On Saturday, May 2nd the Maple Dale Milers took part in the Flying Pig's 26th Mile Run. 40 Maple Dale students and approximately 20 parents participated. The sun was shining and the kids had a blast! Students who have been participating in the Maple Dale Milers program were able to combine their miles with additional miles achieved outside of school to complete 25 miles before May 2nd. They all ran their final 26th mile down 2nd street to the Great American Ball Park and through The Flying Pig's Finish Swine! It was a great time and kids and parents are already asking to do it again next year!
