Time to Submit Letters for Class Placement Next Year

Dear Parents,

We are beginning the process of putting classes together for next year. One of the most important things we consider as we carefully look at class composition is your input.

We ask that you give us feedback about how your child learns best, and on positive peer relationships that will make his or her learning experience next year optimal.

Please consider writing a letter with this information. You may send this letter to school in a sealed envelope addressed to Mrs. Reinke, Assistant Principal.

Please refrain from naming specific teachers. We would like to have your letter by March 14th.

Should you have any questions, please email Mrs. Reinke at:
reinkea@sycamoreschools.org

Sincerely,

Ron L. Brooks, Principal

Treasurer Position Open

Image result for TREASURER

We are still looking for a Treasurer for next year's PTO Executive Board.  This is a great opportunity to be intimately involved in the workings of this great school!  The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining the PTO Budget, providing an updated budget each month for the board and general PTO meetings, writing checks, tracking monetary requests, and helping with counting money for carnival and the walkathon.  The Treasurer is not required to attend meetings, so this could be a good spot for a working parent who wants to be involved in Maple Dale, but isn't available during the business day.  Our current Treasurer, Kari Crusius, has held this position for the last two years.   With next year being Kari's last year at Maple Dale, it would be very helpful to have someone take on this position while Kari is still here to assist and mentor them.
According to our bylaws, an officer can only hold the same position for two consecutive years.  If no one else is willing to take on this position, we will need to amend our bylaws in order to allow Kari to stay in this position longer.  Please contact Pam McCallen if you are interested in this opportunity:  pamzla@yahoo.com or 891-5881.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!

A giant round of applause goes to our amazing parents who have chaired some of our recent programs!!  We thank you for giving your time and energy to our school!
Thank you to:
**Belinda Busemeyer, Kari Crusius, Lisa Skinner, Amanda Dunphy, and Denise Schramm for their great teamwork organizing our fantastic After School Enrichment program!
**Meredith Towbin and Karen Griffin for organizing another fun Family Fun Skate Night!
**Amy Jordan for all of your efforts with the Staff Appreciation Week!
**Courtney Simon who organized our fantastic COSI event for the kids in the fall!
**Heather Parzynski for your amazing efforts organizing our fall Walk-a-thon!!
