Ladies Ornament Exchange Party – Thurs, Dec 8 – 7-10pm
Enjoy a festive evening out with fellow Maple Dale moms! Please bring a wrapped ornament (~$5) to exchange in a lively game! Women of all faith traditions welcome. Light appetizers, wine, & sangria provided. Hosted by Angela Krebs. Cost $15 (plus ornament) per person, 20 guest maximum.
2nd Annual Ladies Wine Tasting – Fri, Nov 11 – 7pm
Experience the taste of several local wineries & light appetizers with fellow Sycamore moms. Hosted by Kassi Eckert. Cost $20 per person.
1st Annual 1st Grade Boys Gaga Tournament – Thurs, May 19 – 4-6pm
Current 1st grade boys are invited to come over to Josh Debrosse’s house after school for snacks, backyard games and a Gaga tournament! Prizes awarded! Willing to carpool 6 kids home to our house after school. Hosted by Deanna Debrosse. Cost $10 per child, 10 child maximum.

Current 2nd & 3rd graders are invited to an afternoon of icing and sprinkles! Each child will bring home 4 decorated cupcakes and 4 decorated cake-pops. Light snacks will be provided. Hosted by Emily Lemmons. Cost $15 per child, 10 child maximum.

PTO Meeting Thursday - working meeting
This Thursday's April 14th PTO meeting will be a "working" meeting. We will have a short business meeting which will include updates from Mr. Brooks and Mrs. Reinke. After this short meeting, we will ask everyone attending to help with carnival setup! We need help filling envelopes for the envelope pull game, filling bags of candy for the various games, and assorted other details. Come on out Thursday morning at 9:30 to find out what's new at Maple Dale, and to help setup for one of our favorite events of the year!

Camp Invention is Coming!
Camp Invention is coming to Sycamore Schools!
Camp
Invention takes summer fun and transforms it from ordinary to extraordinary!
In
partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame, Sycamore Community Schools is
pleased to offer the nationally-acclaimed Camp Invention program to children entering grades 1st through 6th grades. It’s an
exciting, weeklong summer adventure with lessons that explore connections
between science, technology, engineering and innovation. Children will work together to seek
solutions to real-world problems and sharpen critical 21st century
learning skills while rotating through several fascinating modules. Camp begins
on June 13th and ends
June 17th. Camp will be conducted at E.H. Greene
Intermediate School.

This year’s camp - Epic
Children
will construct and personalize a DIY solar-powered cricket with a unique
habitat, play high-energy games and use parts from everyday devices to invent
and solve real-world problems.
