Parent Information Sessions Being Offered
Sycamore parents are cordially invited to attend an evening information session about the new Ohio state tests.
The Sycamore Department of Academic Affairs will talk about how these tests measure our students’ achievement with our standards, and how the tests are measuring student understanding at a deeper level.
Participants will have the opportunity to look at sample test items and learn about how Sycamore teachers are teaching at deeper levels to prepare students.
An update on recent developments from the State of Ohio will also be given.
Two information sessions are being offered:
For parents of students in grades 3-6: Monday evening, February 2nd, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Maple Dale Cafeteria.
For parents of students in grades 7-12: Tuesday evening, February 3rd, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Sycamore High School.
No RSVP is required.
