Did you know that Maple Dale was built with many environmentally friendly features? Maple Dale's Green Team, along with the architect of the building, Christie Boron, has been working all year to develop signage that explains these features in language that kids can understand. We are hopeful that your children will learn a few things about sustainability, recycling, geothermal wells, and many other items by reading these signs. Take a walk around Maple Dale next time you're there, and look for the signs scattered throughout the building! Next week, a large map of the school will be placed on the wall by the water fountains, which will detail where the various signs are located. Thanks to Anne Berg for leading this initiative with countless calls and emails with the architect!
